So.... maybe of interest here as well. Found an answer in the Ubiquiti Edgemax area.
Two commands are needed:
set service dhcp-server global-parameters 'option option43 code 43 = string;'
set service dhcp-server shared-network-name LAN-DHCP subnet 192.168.0.0/24 subnet-parameters 'option...
I know the command and its syntax but I can't find any info on how to specify option 43 and the hex string correctly. The hex string itself should be F1:04:C0:A8:00:EA or some derivative thereof. F1:04 for a Cisco AP, C0:A8:00:EA for the controllers IP address. But.... the option 43 and the hex...
Hi!
I am struggling to set up one of my Cisco access points 2802i-e-k running CAPWAP. I have two other 2802i-e-k9 both running ME. This works just fine. However I would like to manage the CAPWAP AP from the WLC user interface. However I just can't get it to connect to the WLC (the controller)...

Found the field - don't know why I missed it!
However I understand now that the best way is probably to use windows 10 functionality to create an IPsec client on the PC.
Is it possible to establish an IPsec client on an ASUS router to a fritz box?
It should be possible to drag-and-drop files from my LAN to the remote LAN.
If it is possible, where in the user interface is the PSK (Pre shared key) entered?
Or should I use the IPsec client available in Windows...
Could it be that your surge protector is worn out and didn't really protect anything? You may have been just lucky that the other equipment survived. I have had equipment fried for no apparent reason - but there were traces of something happening on the PCB.
Did you try to re-solder the solder...
Thank you all - particularly Juanantonio!! However I will stop trying - it is obviously done on purpose by Google! I asked Google support and got this answer from their help desk:
"We have received an update. I strongly recommend not using VPN. Don't try to change countries with a VPN. Google...
Thanks all for your answers! My main purpose is to get rid of the PC we currently use.
You have inducated several possible solutions which I will definitely try.
We need a new TV in our apartment in Spain. I would like to connect it to my OpenVPN server in Sweden. Is there any TV brand that has an OpenVPN client app??
