    Well I tried messing around with the settings and it looks like I may be SOL. Even with compression and encryption disabled, file transfers still end up leveling out at 700 KB/s. Thanks for the suggestion though!

    I just realized that I may have overlooked the fact that 700 KB/s = 5.6 Mbps. So transfer speeds are not as slow as I initially thought. Are there any known ways to increase transfer speeds though? It would be nice to saturate my upload bandwidth if possible.

    CTF is this same as NAT acceleration, correct? If so it is disabled on my unit. I am just wondering if this is going to be a viable method of monitoring my data consumption now.

    Does the traffic monitor only record data incoming from WAN or does it include LAN data that is transferred? I am asking because my global daily monitor for a specific day indicates a download number far greater than what daily per device is reporting.

    Isn't that what I'm essentially doing when using the web link host.myqnapcloud.com? It uses qnaps ddns to forward to my WAN address. Nobody can access that NAS without a user login/password. Should I not do it this way? Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

    Well I solved the problem. Although I am not sure if I did it the correct way. I enabled DMZ and pointed the traffic to my NAS. Was this an appropriate method or should I reconsider it? By enabling DMZ does this cause conflicting issues with other ports that I have forwarded to other machines...
