    RT-AC66U B1 woes (can't update firmware)

Yeah I'll admit I found this all a bit confusing, seeing as it's my first time flashing any kind of hardware! I'll most likely end up restoring the backup tomorrow morning (this has kept me up late). The guide I followed seemed to imply that the original CFE wouldn't boot up other firmware...

    RT-AC66U B1 woes (can't update firmware)

Yep I made a backup. The CFE I used was from this page, specifically `1.0.1.6 (EU)` under `RT-AC66U (MIPS) - (HW Revisions: 1.30, 1.50, 1.60)` which it turns out is for the older AC66U (I think?). So it's most likely the correct model and I double checked the flash chip was a Zentel.

    RT-AC66U B1 woes (can't update firmware)

Hey everyone, So I recently bought an AC66U and really want to install Merlin, but for the life of me I can't get it to work and I don't know why. Here's what I've tried: - Using the GUI to upload the Merlin RT-AC68U_360.68_4 firmware, that gave me a "Firmware upgrade unsuccessful" error which...
