Are there any resources to show how the countdown timer for one time access to guest network is supposed to work? If I set up a time duration in the guest WiFi configuration, the countdown timer doesn't activate when I hit the enable button. I have to go into the configuration settings and hit...
couple things:
Gnuton's version only works with Version 1 of the HW. for this model router.
If you are flashing from a windows system, make sure that the firmware file is not "blocked" (Right Click | Properties | General then look for "unblock" checkbox)
these two things just off the top...
I just set up an RT-AX82U for a friend with ASUS FW 3.0.0.4.388_22525. After about 24Hrs, the same messages started. They are in groups of 3 every 5 minutes. I really hope your crash is not imenent. Is there any setting that might be tweaked to make this go away?
You fixed it! I enabled scrolling on putty and it told me what was wrong. My Inet is Really slow as I live way out in the countryside. so i was setting my upload speed to 10.5 mps. Well, it hates anything but whole numbers for upload and download speed. I made those entries whole numbers...
Somethings I tried:
Ran a different SSH Client (Kitty) -- No luck
Reset the SSH port back to 22 -- No Luck
Tried Kitty and Putty from a different PC -- No Luck
Tried to install and run RTR on my AIMesh Node -- same problem with navigation of screens
Reset Putty to defaults -- allows me to use...
1.) Open AMTM
2.) Type: rt (open RTRMOM)

4.) RTRMON starts up and gathers initial stats
5.) Pressing: N take me to the setup screen
6.) Pressing: P (moves back to page 6/6 )

Not sure if this has been covered (Tried to search through this thread), but 2 things happen when i start this app.
1. The choices that I select never appear on screen. that is, if I select "m1" to start the monitor, the "m1" is never painted on the screen If I exit back to AMTM, then those...
I have the opposite situation. I want all traffic to go through WAN unless I have a rule that routes it through the VPN.
So I set up my VPN client to use the VPN director. And I have rules to route specific devices through the VPN (that I can turn off and on when necessary). But, what rule...
Not that this has anything to do with the new firmware, but about 6 hours after upgrade, I started getting these
kernel: jffs2: Error garbage collecting node at 00aaaf54!
kernel: jffs2: Error garbage collecting node at 00aaaf54!
kernel: jffs2: read_cache_page() returned error: -5

I am one of the people seeing the "potentially unexpected fatal signal 11."
If I turn off pixel-tls, it goes away, but if I enable Pixel-tls and deactivate all the trend micro stuff in the AiProtection tabs, I *still* get this error. Is there some other trend micro stuff I need to turn off or...
Thanks RMerlin. Just for completeness sake I'm posting the log entries I am getting in case you or someone can see something that would eventually allow Pixelsrv-tls.
Jan 2 18:53:05 kernel: potentially unexpected fatal signal 11.
Jan 2 18:53:05 kernel: CPU: 1 PID: 8553 Comm: dcd Tainted: P...
I am also getting this error. Can I safely ignore it, or should I disable Trend or Diversion or both?
Trying the ASUS Firmware followed by the latest Merlin did not solve this issue (as it did for another user on here)
I am actually getting this error with no guest network enabled. In the last FW, I got it when I used the Guest 1 networks (2.4 / 5 GH), but now even with all Guest Networks off, I still get this error many times per second. Enabling / disabling the Guest Network(s) seems to have no effect
