Yes John tried with 3 different adapters . Reboot happens only when I try to switch very fast on my laptop from2 to 5ghz, not any other time . This behaviour is only when i switch networks on my laptop & not on my any other devices .

I agree its not for faster downloads but i have bean using this router for years and speed was good , now suddenly 6-7 Mbps is not expected right ? yes 20 Mhz gives me some relief but the max boost i get is 20-30 mpbs and i am using the same for now.

Yes all of a sudden . the only change i did was recent upgrade of fork firmware around 15 days a ago. Hence i tried all the different firmware , including old ones available from Asus website using Restore utility . :( Hoping someone can show hop to me ..
