    I'm so frustrated with this thing. I am on the ASUS firmware 3.0.0.4.378_4608. I can connect to both bands, but my 5G band stops working. My devices still show connected with Internet access, but you can't browse. Disconnecting and reconnecting temporarily fixes it. Which firmware is supposed to...

    Thanks. I actually have it printed out in front of me. Should the wireless mode be AP on both? It's from step 13 on that I am struggling with.

    Thanks dfran1. I have reset to factory defaults, but the Operation Mode is still Gateway. This may or may not be an issue. It just seems that the Comcast router is just a modem at this point since it's in bridge mode. I would think the ASUS would need to be a router, no? I really am looking for...

    Hi all. I followed the instructions on page 1 and flashed my ASUS RT-AC87R to 26446. Seemed ok at first, but then I have discovered that my 5Ghz network drops and I have to reconnect my laptop to the 2.4 then back to the 5. I have Comcast and an ARRIS TG862 Modem/Router in bridge mode. Also...
