EAP 225 V3 - Basically use for one room

So I currently have an Asus router in my basement, and then an EAP225 on the main floor and an EAP225 on the top floor. But have put an office/den on the main floor at the opposite end of where the EAP225 is connected. I happen to have another one lying around gathering dust, and was curious...

Router / AP Setup - must be Christmas..

Not in Canada unfortunately. Does the free software offer the same functionality as the hardware? Ie why would folks opt for the hardware instead if the software was free?

Router / AP Setup - must be Christmas..

What does the Omada controller give me that if need in a household setting to improve the wireless experience? Outside of easier ability to update and manage the 3 AP's, as logging in separately doesn't bother me. I think there is a free Omada controller for PC I would also use to do that but...

RT-AX88U Parental Controls with Time Scheduling problems

Interesting, have you tried a schedule there vs the AI Protection? FWIW, DD-WRT does the exact same thing where if the device is already on the network, it doesn't kick it off at the scheduled time, which renders the whole point of this somewhat useless given for most of us we are parents...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

So I'm still on Beta 3 (AX86u). Turns out the schedule blocking does in fact work. Except what it does is it prevents the device from accessing the internet at the blocked time. However, if the device is already active, it does not in fact kick the decide off/block it. Interestingly this was...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

Hi guys. Just purchased an AX86u a week ago and have been running stock firmware. I just flashed this beta, and now have lost all access to the internet. That is, even my hardwired devices while they say connected, I can't access websites I didn't reset to defaults before flashing as I...

    QQ on Access Blocking

Ah perfect. I think that's the only version available for the AX86u in any event. Thanks for finding that!

    QQ on Access Blocking

Can't seem to find this answer. Recently purchased an AX86U, coming from an R7000 running DDWRT. Have not yet changed to the Merlin firmware as I wanted to read up a bit more on the beta and any issues folks with AX86U routers are or aren't having. But a quick question. One thing I liked with...
