Hello, Directly into the port. By the way... the port is working just fine with usb2 devices. I bought this because I also need usb3 speeds on file sharing. I was not expecting this... :-( Can you give me some advise on a USB3 2.5'' disk enclosure that is working? Thanks! BR Pedro
