    Fair point, the initial backup takes forever, but once done the incrementals are not that big of a deal. I would use the USB drive at home as my primary backup, but would still prefer to backup everything offsite if it is an option.

    Thanks for the reply. Only problem with Amazon and the other 'clouds' you mentioned is that none of them are unlimited. Very keen on an unlimited option so I don't have to monitor how much space I am using on a regular basis. And I already have the Buffalo so would prefer to not have to buy...
