    I have emailed Asus today again. I really want these working, and now we see a lot of people from around Europe suffer the same issues. And even when getting replaced units, they get the same problem. We truly need a working firmware. I emailed them and wrote to them on Facebook. Lets see.

    The Repeaters we discuss here support 3 modes: AP, Repeater, Media link. In all 3 there are issues. The older RP-52 runs perfectly in AP mode. So it is something with the new devices AC56 that are not working properly.

    Can you get it to work in Extender-mode? My 2 cannot perform in any setup at all :). Well we are now close to 10 different people in Sweden suffering the same issues. Hopefully Asus fixes this quick.

    Just to let everyone know: I am having a dialoge with Asus in Sweden trying to resolve this. And now we are even one more in Sweden. So something truly is wrong for Sweden in these APs. I will keep you all updated as Asus progress.

    Just one note - I did install Merlin firmware for AC3200. Could that have broken 5gz-2 band?. I believe it should not as Merlins stuff is really stable and well used out there. But just guessing here.
