thanks, i may call it a day. i moved the mail router actually lower in my basement and it seems to have a better signal upstairs so maybe going past a beam or something now so i may just sell the other router. thanks

so yesterday i unlinked my other router the mesh router and havent had a problem with the phone since. so what would that mean. the phone was connected to my main router when the slow connection allways happened

so after trying more stuff standing next to the router it was still slow. standing next to the other mesh router i have a fast connection. go back to the rtx-88u and its slow wifi and it was not changing untill i rebooted the router then it was fast for over 24 hours but only the wifi gets slow...
