    Dumb (perhaps) question. How do things like ASUS AIProtection, Bitdefender Box, Cujo and other "dumbed-down" boxes compare? I'm especially interested in ASUS AIProtection (Trend Micro) - which apparently does deep-packet inspection. Untangle or pfsense/snort seem useful, but I'm getting older...

    I admit not knowing what UTM stands for, but wonder if the ASUS routers with AIProtection are adequate if you don’t open any ports.

    I just double-checked; UPnP is disabled. In fact, all checks under AIProtection “Router Security Assessment” are green.

    I don't recall (US customer here), but I believe shrink-wrap is easy to place on a package, so just because there *is* shrink-wrap doesn't necessarily mean it is not a return. FYI, I've not had problems with Amazon sending me returns, but I'll keep an eye on that now!
