ME TOO!!!! I had actually bought 5 of them, it was supposed to be awesome! ... NOT! However, they do work as individual routers (if you put them in houses, and make sure to raise them above anything hard with toilet paper rolls) ... so we moved them to client homes, and seem to be ok there.

Hey Shad0wz .. it is interesting, even if you turn off the radios, the still blast the network every hour or so. It is just one of the strangest things. I have captured a bunch of traffic with WireShark, and it just suddenly blows up the network. I can't even have them as AP's from another 87...

I have a couple RT-AC87x's running as APs .. connecting directly to a layer 2 switch, servicing about 10-40 wireless devices (iPhones, androids, macbooks, dells, etc.) .... the issue is MASSIVE TCP retransmission traffic (like it fills up the network bandwidth, and actually slows/stops...

I can confirm this behavior ... I have seen (on the RT-AC87u's) these addresses in the ARP tables of the devices, on a regular basis ... and, on occasion (1-3 times a day), these are the addresses that send out the massive TCP Re-Transmissions Additional Note -- I tried the support guys again...
