Why is Asus RT AC87U no longer supported? at asuswrt I found software for N18U. How did he do that?? and is it also possible to do this for AC87U? Thanks for every answer.

Check temperature. Sometimes the thermal paste is not correctly applied and the module switches off if it overheats. even after replacing the thermal paste or thermopad, the temperature can drop by 10 degrees celsius.
