Diversion CAN or CANNOT Diversion block ads in the Apple News app

Good news, I'm glad you got it working. Where did you find the EasyPrivacy list? It doesn't seem to be in the standard AdGuardHome collection of lists. thanks,

    AdGuardHome [RELEASE] Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI)

No problem. 192.168.50.1 is the default for the RT-AX86U, and I think for the earlier RT-AC86U as well, so I imagine others have this situation, too. I'm not aware that it caused any issues in my LAN.

    AdGuardHome [RELEASE] Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI)

I'm just not understanding why the entries are for 192.168.1.1:553, instead of for 192.168.50.1:553. If this is the way it's supposed to work, it's fine. I wasn't asking for you to remove them.

    AdGuardHome [RELEASE] Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI)

On my RT-AX86U, Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4, everything seems to be working fine with AdGuardHome installed, although I haven't yet tested all combinations. However, I cannot figure out one of the pre-configured settings. Under "DNS Settings/Upstream DNS Servers", I don't understand the following...

    Wireless channel for Aimesh Node

Never mind above question about changing AiMesh channels. It seems that the WiFi Site Survey will continue to show the old channel along with the new one until you press the SCAN button on the main display page. Doing that updates the entire page and now shows the node and the router on the same...

    Wireless channel for Aimesh Node

I have an AiMesh setup with RT-AC86U as router and RT-AC68U as node, wireless backhaul. It seemed to be working well, but in the spirit of "if it ain't broke, tinker with it anyway while everyone else is asleep," I decided to fine tune the wireless settings. On the 86U I turned off Smart...

    AiMesh usability poll - Version 3.0.0.4.384 20308

At the risk of being labeled a Luddite, I've stuck to (mostly) default settings, which are working well, as i said. That means: no changes to any of the professional tab items (all beam forming enabled, airtime fairness enabled), and only "auto" is available for wireless modes since Smart...

    AiMesh usability poll - Version 3.0.0.4.384 20308

Same combination of devices as yours, works perfectly and is completely stable. Wireless backhaul.

Aimesh and smart connect work together?

I've been using an 86U for the main AiMesh router, and a 68U as the AiMesh node. I set it up once about 10 days ago, and it's been running smoothly ever since. However, I have little insight into how it all works, unfortunately. Both the main router and the node are managed through the UI on the...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

To be clear, I am using the RT-AC68U as an AiMesh node, not in AP mode. I guess this is a kind of AP, but centrally managed from the main router, and with wireless backhaul. When I set it up, I did nothing to tell the 68U which mode to operate in -- I just let the other router search for it as a...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

I guess I'm just lucky, but my new AiMesh setup with wireless backhaul is working just fine. It consists of an RT-AC68U as a node that was previously my main router (for several years, running Merlin), and a brand new RT-AC86U. To get it going, I first powered up the RT-AC86U, which immediately...

    Publickey authentication *from* Asus(merlin) router

Just a note about searching for short terms -- use google.com and specify the site you're interested in, as here: site:snbforums.com ssh You're able to search for short strings such as "ssh" or "rsa".

    Odd problem with VoIP phone

This sounds like a very similar problem to the one in my OP above. However, my long term solution is a little different. It turns out that Bell (my ISP) finally issued a firmware fix to their modem/router (a Sagemcom) after many, many complaints from subscribers like me. This new FW completely...

    Odd problem with VoIP phone

For the moment, I'm just going to leave my VoIP phone connected directly to the Bell router/modem, not to the Asus. It works this way, although of course it can't take advantage of any QoS in the Asus. The Asus router is connecting by PPPoE passthrough and gets an external IP address, but for...
