RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

Thanks for the spelling emoji, lol. Those speeds make sense and yes I did mean up to 866Mbps. I'm about 10ft away from my MR2200 now and I'm getting an average of 650Mbps down and 65Mbps up on both my laptop and phone. That's plenty for me even during the work day on calls, video, screen...

RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

Yes, stability is key and honestly if my router hadn't started freaking out, for lack of a better term, I would not even consider a change. The Synology setup has been solid for me before this. My fried has the Unifi dream router and 2 aps and has been happy. That would be my first choice...

RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

Good explanation, thank you. As long as I have consistent speeds per machine tested and at >=wireless range I'm satisfied. As well as stability, which I'm struggling with now. Marketing... that doesn't exist. I trust when they say I can get 6Gbps out of the GT-AX6000 EVA Edition, lol

RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

Thanks. I'm leaning towards that route. I don't have experience with APs for the home. I'm curious on speeds and range, are the similar/better/worse than a traditional router? I know there are so many variables in that question, just trying to gauge for example location, router, wired backhaul...

RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

I'm not too familiar with Mikrotik. I asked around and the consensus was the learning curve was steep. I do like the router + ap combo. Any thoughts on Omada?

RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

I do remember the initial issues with the RT2600ac but the firmware did work out the kinks.

RT2600ac replacement (RT6600ax, Orbi Pro, Omada)

I currently have a RT2600ac and two MR2200acs using wired backhaul. The setup covers 2 floors as well as the backyard (one MR2200ac is in the garage wired.) Internet is 940Mbps with Astound Broadband by RCN (just rolls off the tongue). My speeds from the router or aps average around 520Mbps...

    Synology RT6600AX

Thx. Yeah my Neighbor somewhere has some Netgear bands that's are always stronger than mine when I'm in my house. I know Netgear and specifically Orbi are limited on customizations so I guess there are pluses and minuses to everything.

    Synology RT6600AX

Thx, appreciate it. I think it's "the grass is always greener" thinking. I originally had a Linksys 1900acs which worked for its years but the 2.4 band died so I went with Synology and wired backhauls. I really like the UI and security features, but a few friends are running Asus routers with...

    Synology RT6600AX

Thanks for your review. I'm currently have the RT2600ac and two MR2200ac and was looking to upgrade due to the increased Wifi 6 clients I have. I originally had to add the additional MR2200ac due to the lack of range so that's a little disappointing to hear about the RT6600ax. I'm still...

    R8000p vs RT-AC3200 vs D-Link DIR-3060 VS WRT3200ACM

Awesome, thanks Vlad. This is really helpful. I'm going to eye the RT-AX88U for a good price and just go for it.

    R8000p vs RT-AC3200 vs D-Link DIR-3060 VS WRT3200ACM

Thanks again guys for your replies. I've seen this before, but this forum is a gift and a curse because of all the information and weeding through it, but the advice here is good. Looking at the options I've narrowed it down to a few models: RT-AC5300 -fast processor and lots of features that...

    R8000p vs RT-AC3200 vs D-Link DIR-3060 VS WRT3200ACM

Thanks for you reply. I was actually just looking at both of those and comparing to the EA9300.
