    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.61 is now available

    for some reason ver 61 did not work for me on my rt5300 properly slowed down all my bandwidth, tried all the normal recommendations no change. ver 58 worked great. so i switched to the latest asus firmware and everything works great. no sure what i missed or did wrong. will wait and try out...

    thanks that fixed it, got my drivers updated. meanwhile decided to get two new intel 7260 ac cards to replace the old 'N' ones. that will help. now to start tinkering with other stuff...lots of reading to do here.

    yes the wireless mode for 2.4ghz is set to auto as do the other 5ghz ones too.

    I just upgraded today from a RT-N16 to the AC5300 after more than 5 yrs , wow what a diff. this thing is huge compared to my old one as you can see in the pic. i upgraded to merlin firmware 380.57 (my first time messin with firmware updates) . my 5 ghz works great but my two old laptops on...
