    Thanks for the replies. AZAZEL1024 - The SG200 switches do VLANs. The reason for the L3 switch as the "core" is just for speed. Is the router-on-a-stick not more of a bottleneck than the L3 switch? If not then fine, that will save a piece of hardware. Thanks for the comments on the UPS...
