    I tried the same thing just now to test it. Was getting 55 down before, then 31 down with either rate limiting for 10 IPs, OR priority. So I think it may be that just the act of trying to manage the bandwidth decreases the bandwidth? You could do more extensive testing to load up...

    Thanks for the replies. AZAZEL1024 - The SG200 switches do VLANs. The reason for the L3 switch as the "core" is just for speed. Is the router-on-a-stick not more of a bottleneck than the L3 switch? If not then fine, that will save a piece of hardware. Thanks for the comments on the UPS...
