Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.99SF

Yes, I am using 5 GHz and not sure why it doesn't cross 90 Mbps. I tried stock firmware as well. Same result. Moved to OpenWrt 22.03 now and get 500+ Mbps and the user interface between Netgear and OpenWrt is night and day! Adding static leases and customization is a breeze in OpenWrt (stored...

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.99SF

I did a clean flash of this firmware on my R7800 and for some reason, the download speeds are NOT going above 90 Mbps. On the DDWRT build, I reach close to 500/500 Mbps. There aren't many settings for wifi in Voxel compared to DDWRT and I tried different settings and nothing seems to matter...

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.99SF

Took a chance and dirty flashed R7800 from stock (V1.0.2.90) to Voxel (V1.0.2.99SF) and it seems to work fine. Will check how it goes for a day or two and if there are issues, will configure from scratch as it's a pain.

    Beta [Fork] 384.13 builds

It's been more than a year since ArchPhoenix release (384.13_202106). So, I take it that the updates are dead on this router? Can't believe Asus dropped the ball on this router after their stupid selection of antenna for this router. OTOH, they are still supporting old routers like AC-68U...

DNSSEC Settings on ASUS RT-AC87U (Merlin 384.13_10)

Let me give you my honest opinion - you are NOT being helpful one bit. If you have nothing much to contribute here, just stop flooding my thread with useless info as it's wasting my time to respond. No more response from me for your *snarky* comments! Good bye!

DNSSEC Settings on ASUS RT-AC87U (Merlin 384.13_10)

Wow, instead of just saying whether the settings are correct, you have to be snarky and post the search results. I did search it before posting this thread as there are lots of conflicting info on these threads. And, since my firmware is not up-to-date with other routers (Merlin dropped support...

DNSSEC Settings on ASUS RT-AC87U (Merlin 384.13_10)

Thanks and yes, I enabled DNSFilter as well.

DNSSEC Settings on ASUS RT-AC87U (Merlin 384.13_10)

Well, merlin dropped support on RT87U and whatever I have is the latest and greatest. I have flashed the fork version of Merlin and has some updated packages by @Zulgrib. I searched and couldn't find anything useful and hence this thread!

DNSSEC Settings on ASUS RT-AC87U (Merlin 384.13_10)

No one has inputs on my settings?

    Beta [Fork] 384.13 builds

I see these messages a lot... Any ideas what it's complaining about?

    Beta [Fork] 384.13 builds

To me, AC87U works very well with this build. I tried DD-WRT and the stock firmware and ended up with this fork. DD-WRT has 5 GHz issues as Quantenna (for 5 GHz) is closed source and we can't even set the mode, channel, etc. So, no go for me! I had buffering issues on Bloomberg TV on the...

    Beta [Fork] 384.13 builds

I know for sure that the fork has an updated dnsmasq that solve dnssec vulnerability, which is critical. Apart from that, I believe there are updates to few other packages and the OP can give you more details...

    Beta [Fork] 384.13 builds

Thanks. In fact, after I posted that message, I did a power cycle and don't see that message anymore.

Thank you and appreciate the info.

    Beta [Fork] 384.13 builds

Thank you for the build and appreciate the effort. I just flashed this (RT-AC87U_384.13_202106) and when I look at the log, I see lots of this... Any ideas?
