Printable version and option to show more posts per page

My plan is to use AI to address exactly the issue you’re describing—by identifying the few golden nuggets of useful information and presenting and comparing them across multiple firmware versions. As any experienced Asus router user will tell you, things break all the time after upgrading the...

Printable version and option to show more posts per page

How so? Is clicking "Next" and wading back and forth in a sea of pages to try and find the relevant information a hobby of yours? I actually think most people are like me, the've always wanted to view more posts per page but do not follow this subforum.

And you really need an AI to check your ignorance at the door. Because you've clearly got no insight into what I'm trying to accomplish, which means you've no experience with solving firmware related problems with respect to Asus.

I might be the only person annoyed enough to actually go through the trouble of finding this subforum and submitting a request, but I seriously doubt I’m the only one who would appreciate it. I’ve never checked this subforum before, even though I’ve browsed the forum occasionally for years, so I...

Printable version and option to show more posts per page

I can’t seem to find a way to display more posts per page or to view a clean, printable version of threads on this forum. Am I overlooking something? If not, I’d like to suggest adding these features. They would make it much easier to read and search through long threads, such as Firmware...

AiMesh randomly disconnecting - "MISC: wifi upstream is connected, and disconnected from CAP."

In that case, you should have done so before starting this thread, or at least specify that your primary goal is not to solve the problem, but stay on the newest firmware. With respect, if you had some experience with Asus routers and the lack of QC on their firmwares, you'd know that trying to...

New Official Firmware Support from Asus

In FreshTomato? Not from what my research has gathered. It also lacks the ability to set minimum RSSI per client or node like you can in Aimesh. Plus Aimesh probbly has some proprietary blend that might implement other mesh technologies, that is not available in FreshTomato. So you're limited...

Using Asus routers as VLAN-capable APs

I agree. Only use Merlin if needed for the extra features, in my case CakeQOS (which for the life of me I don't understand why Asus can't enable for use with the official FW, as it would be a big improvement, on a stable code base, not requiring any licensing fees that I know of.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.9 is now available

I'm two versions behind the newly released one, which means i skipped one version and am now asking about the new one. Not as dramatic as you make it sound, really. We're not counting the small incremental updates inbetween which doesn't upgrade the GPL, where the problem most likely resides...

    Slow and droping wifi 2.4ghz

If you are on 3006 codebase, try reverting to 3004.

AiMesh randomly disconnecting - "MISC: wifi upstream is connected, and disconnected from CAP."

And your answer is yes, somebody does. That's unlikely to happen for a few reasons, one of which Merlin has abandoned the 386 firmware branch and people have started upgrading their main nodes to AX routers capable of running the 388 branch or firmware (which has its headaches too, read my...
