OK never mind I fixed it, by change the VPN protocol to Keepsolid Wise TLS.

This is the exact reason I joined this forum to try and fix this. I had used this exact situation with vodafone uk, throw the phone in airplane mode and enable wifi and bingo wifi calling abroad. Now with ID mobile (aka 3 mobile) this doesn't work, so what I've done is setup a wifi hotspot on...
