    I tried the reset method as you suggested above but admin, admin will not work after the reset. Neither will my other name and PW, the one I tried to set up initially. I wonder if I bricked the unit?

    Naw, didn't work. Naw, didn't work. I don't have a clue as what to do now. The user name and password will not take. I just took it off line and went back to my good trusty Linksys 8-port Ethernet router for now, until I can figure this out. Thanks :)

    Thanks for answering me. I really appreciate it. Now do I turn the computers off and leave the router on while pressing the reset button? Or do the computers have to be on also while doing this? And then we have the Motorola modem... just leave it alone when doing this? Or does it not matter...

    Hi all, brand new member here, total noob. I know this is a most basic and dumb question but I really could use some help. How do I reset my router password to default? I just bought a Asus AC- 68R router and almost had it running good, almost. But things went screwy during installation...
