    I tried doing a search for client backup on the forum but didn't really come up with much. There were a few threads that didn't really discuss the topic much unfortunately. Every NAS I've looked at that has client backup generally doesn't seem to do snapshot/historical backups where I can go...

    I know that the Seagate Black Armor has NAS client backup, but are there any others that have this feature? The Seagate isn't bad, but it doesn't look like the software supports snapshot/historical backups which is what I'm looking for. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Noise level chart?

    I think with a DB tester you can probably do a good job of testing. The only thing I think you would need for a constant are the same drives so there noise doesn't vary.

    Wireless with 5 ethernet ports?

    I currently have a 4 port switch, and a 4 port wireless router. I was hoping to eliminate the switch for space/power reasons and combine it all down to 1 wireless router with more ports.

    Almost all Wireless switches seem to have 4 ports. Do any out there have 5 or more? 8 or 16 would be great :-)

    Gigabit Ethernet Need-to-Know

    Picked up another Netgear recently. That was kind of a mistake. They are so NOISY. The fans are ridiculously loud on these guys.

    Thecus N4100PRO

    I bought one of these recently with 4, 1TB Samsung drives. Works like a charm. I'm very happy with it so far.
