Where in the world is Hggomes???

Well if he has decided to no longer work on firmware, I hope he will pass on his source code to someone else...

This DNLA issue was finally fixed in the latest posted HGG firmware.

    AC68U stops responding.

My AC-68U keeps ceasing to respond to WiFi on the current firmware as well. Roughly once a day it needs a power cycle.

    What's OpenVPN ?

I define it as obscure in that very few commercial VPN products seem to use Open VPN. The vast majority of it's small market share is apparently custom hacked firmware and manual home installs. VPN support in a 'home' product is rare fullstop. You might be able to use Open VPN for a...

    What's OpenVPN ?

A quick check shows that apparently neither Juniper, Checkpoint, Microsoft or Cisco VPNs support Open VPN - and they are the market leaders. So from that point of view Open VPN is very obscure.

    What's OpenVPN ?

It's an obscure Open Source VPN format that is of little use for anything other than remote client access. Unfortunately more useful point to point VPN options like IPSEC and SSL are not currently offered. Personally I would donate $50 if IPSEC support was added so that I could extend my home...

How to add more 5ghz channels

Thanks - providing a link would have saved everyone from searching though.... "Iceland" provides no relevant hits. From your suggestion I found that the code KR for Korea seems to work well for me.

Thanks. How come it hasn't been fixed then - is it a closed source driver issue?

    40 Mhz channel setting bug on 2.4GHz / RT66U

I have noticed that on my RT66U running 374.41 whatever channel I set under Wireless / General / 2.4 GHz - when set to 20/40 or 40MHz mode - the router always only uses channel 6 (according to inSSIDer) regardless of the channel I have chosen - if I switch the router to 20MHZ only mode, then the...

How to add more 5ghz channels

Same here on RT66U - seems to be a bug when set to GB country code - no devices see 5G at all.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.39 is out

completely unusable range and performance for me on both bands on the RT-N66 - even using the EM builds after a full reset. Have reverted back to last SDK5 build which is much better with about double the useable range from the router.

    Can't change country on RT-N66U

[HELP] Transmit power restriction for RT-N66U

Yes - much better for me in the UK - 5GHz is way improved....I didn't even know there was a GB setting. If we can't have the ability to control location in the GUI, then perhaps it could at least display the current settings?
