BT Full Fibre 900 FTTP AX88U Setup Guide UK

If you put in 255.255.255.0 the AX88U throws it error and says the "ISP's DHCP isnt working correctly" (or something to that effect). Basically it doesn't work. Might revisit that...

BT Full Fibre 900 FTTP AX88U Setup Guide UK

Ok - so I have been messing about with the AX88U and BT Full Fibre FTTP (In the UK). I have had lots of help and support from the people on here (Thank you again), BUT I have discovered the AX88U does not play nice with BT PPPoE connections. I have had intermittent problems from Day 1 with the...

AX88U router - stop AiMesh Vlan tags going to the WAN

Thanks for all the replies - to check to see if it is a "My Router" fault, I have put the original router back in place an double Nat'ing it (no firewall + DMZ etc) directly to the AX88U. (Firewall etc enabled on the AX88U) The AX88U uses Static IP to connect to the BT Router (Internet). I...

AX88U router - stop AiMesh Vlan tags going to the WAN

Not quite... the other thread ALSO said "Another user who does have AIMESH stopped those tags from going to the WAN and it also fixed it for them." and this is what I am trying to do.

AX88U router - stop AiMesh Vlan tags going to the WAN

AX88U latest firmware - BT Full Fibre UK. I have asked this in another thread but it seems to have been swallowed up by other replies/fault finding. So I am asking the specific question here. Does anyone out there know how to do this? thanks

Asus AX88U (Merlin) BT Full Fibre WAN dropping

Its a simple setup really. AX88U main router with BT full fibre 900. Standard PPPoE settings and works great. Aimesh - 2 nodes using a hardwired backbone (backhaul). No special settings on the Aimesh nodes. Just went with standard. Like I say I used an AC68u for a year on the same connection...

Asus AX88U (Merlin) BT Full Fibre WAN dropping

Interstingly the DHCP Lan IP lease is set at 24 hours and renews at around the same time as the WAN drop. Ive set DHCP lan for 7 days... just to rule that out.

Asus AX88U (Merlin) BT Full Fibre WAN dropping

It is dropping every 24 hours consistently. The only things in the log are: Only a reboot will resolve it. I have the chron wancheck working, but it's not ideal. thanks Edit: I've been searching for this, buit no luck yet. I can't even seem to find how to view the vlan tags on the router...

Asus AX88U (Merlin) BT Full Fibre WAN dropping

Hi, I am not using guest wireless 1 (I don't think) I don't have a guest network enabled if that's what you mean. I am however now using Aimesh, which is the only thing different form the AC86u setup I was using previously. It was one of the main reason for upgrading to an AX88U and it does...

Asus AX88U (Merlin) BT Full Fibre WAN dropping

I see thanks, a bit strange that the router has "Internet Connection Status" as "Disconnected" on the admin page... but the people who write the firmware can't make the LED go red???? I mean they know the wan is already disconnected. o_O
