    Apologies for the late response but thank you! Since simply changing from auto to channel six, my connection hasn't dropped once.

    It is set to auto. There are only two other wireless networks my devices detect from neighbours. These are on channel one, while NirSoft WirelessNetView tells me mine is using channel six. Often these other two networks will not be detected by my devices, although whether they are or not does...
