Green is ethernet, yes. Red and yellow are isolated runs of coax, so you are correct there. The blue is just how the coax is now, 3 TV's attached to a splitter (output) but I've removed the antenna feed from the input and connected it to the Tablo. That's a network DVR with an ATSC 1.0 tuner...

Yeah, I agree with you about the apps. They want me to pick the fullest channel, of course I don't do that and just grab the emptiest.

I suppose I could lower the operating channels so it's running on a lower frequency, that'll give it a small boost but then, it'll be overlapping strong neighboring networks.

I find with the new router, I can get a bit further. Maybe it's because of I'm using an WiFi 6 phone with an WiFi 6 router, or maybe it's because this router has more antennas than the old one.

I don't know if this has to do with WPA2/WPA3 but my older Tablo is connecting to my WiFi on the 2.4 GHz band but it's not showing a hostname, just an "*" (without the quotes). I have no clue what that's about but it's coming in at a -64dBm.
