    I had two ORICO-products (with USB 3.0) until now and both didn't work correctly with my existing hardware. Products from other manufacturers most worked properly.

    Oh I don't like ORICO products. But I will try this old firmware which worked for you. Maybe my hubs will also work with it. I haven't asked ASUS in a discussion board but per mail so I cannot share a thread.
