This happened after installing the Skynet add-on. The second add-on I tried to install was scMerlin. But the scMerlin completely destroyed the WebUI. With all due respect to the authors of the add-ons, but they have not been tested with the new software.

But I didn't have these problems with my old RT-AC86U. It always remembered nothing after a factory reset. And here's some crap, how come after clearing* my own settings it remembers everything, and I can't change it. Every change doesn't show up after reloading, only after I clear the browser...

It's obvious that they are not empty, because how could it be that after a hard reset and even uploading the original software - it still remembers everything, even the DDNS password! So how do I delete this crap so it doesn't restore all the settings?

nothing shows up in all the folders, I don't believe they are empty I would like to delete this directory /config, /addons

amtm doesn't show installed add-ons. Can I delete everything from this directory? I can't access the subfolders.

I did this as my final solution to the problem I wrote in the first post. Nothing helped, the damn JFFS still holds the configuration. I felt like experimenting with Merlin add-ons, and now I'm pissed because I wasted a lot of time trying to clean up the configuration.

This doesn't work, neither does hard reset via the WPS button.
