I have the same problem as previous poster.. only about 10MB/s write speed to USB3 hard drive all of a sudden? Used to be a little over 20MB/s. Read speed seems to be unaffected, still a little over 25MB/s.

I would like to map the usb drive on my router on a remote computer in windows 7 and iOS. There is currently no asus client for computers, only phones and pads so I'm not sure if there are any other good options somebody could recommend? Regular Ftp works but I don't feel it's secure enough...

I can't connect to PIA with the standard firmware of RT-AC68U or R using Open VPN either... Merlins firmware works great with Open VPN! PPTP and L2TP works great on the standard firmware but not Open VPN with standard firmware, at least not for me... But could be doing something wrong...

hmm... both explicit and universal beamforming on here but really no issues... im not in an area with a lot of other wifi networks surrounding me though... did you try turning it off?
