AsusWRT and guest network with no intranet access on AP mode

4k only needs about 10 to 20 Mbps. Otherwise do extenders/repeaters include the guest network? Does aimesh include the guest network?

AsusWRT and guest network with no intranet access on AP mode

If it repeats or extends the first ap wifi signals than that should include its guest network.

If a repeater is too slow, get an extender.

    RT-AC68U Terrible Wireless Signal

If you turn the 5Ghz radio off, does the 2.4Ghz radio work correctly?

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

Thanks again. I do have a slow internet service but curious; does adaptive qos disable hardware acceleration?

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

Sounds good, and you should be congratulated on this work. However, it's not for everyone and adaptive qos itself being flawed is still true. But if it comes down to custom rules by port numbers than traditional qos should handle it.

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

I did read his post. When I googled your script I found a description that describes the fix as moving unidentified traffic from the default class to the others class. Where the others class can be prioritised but default is always the lowest. That would mean voip rtp traffic and bittorrent...

Requesting traditional QoS rule by source port

I did make the suggestion to Asus directly. I have no idea who will see it. I thought I've read an Asus rep posting in this forum.

Requesting traditional QoS rule by source port

Currently, traditional QoS rules use destination port but not source port. To be able to classify voip and torrents for example, creating rules by source tcp/udp port is imperative. Can Asus make this adjustment in their firmware? Model: rt-ac66u b1 H/w version: b2

Slow web UI with firefox and chrome

Are you using QoS? Does the webui work correctly if you turn QoS off?

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

That may be true in some envirionments and adaptive qos does catch quite a bit of it. However, in my home I set the port numbers that bittorrent uses and QoS by port number can catch it 100%. Adaptive QoS not catching voip rtp data is unforgivable. Traditional QoS is very much relevent to...

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

Traditional qos can prioritise my voip calls, although not the way it should. My old $23 adsl router could prioritise my voip calls the proper way. I don't need the router to do too much thinking.

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

With this new feature I can see voip rtp data is going untracked under adaptive qos. A lot of bittorrent data is going untracked as well. Adaptive qos is failing at one of the most important things it's suppose to do.

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

Thanks. While I won't be agreeing to the trend micro eula I get lots of usefull information from the port numbers. I just wish it told me the priority classification queue. Do you think it could do that one day?

New QoS "tracked connections" feature not showing class info

The new QoS tracked connections feature is very helpful but under application all I get is "untracked". I'm using tradional QoS and the pie chart above has activity in the different classes. What is suppose to display under application? It would be nice if it listed the class for each...
