Incoming change in the Asuswrt-merlin development pace

Totally understand, you are a one man team after all. In the end of the day, if Asus brings out an important bugfix or feature, we can always swap to stock for a bit if it's important enough to us. What's important is that you don't overwork yourself, this is a hobby afterall, the worst thing...

[TUTORIAL] LIGHTTPD web server with PHP support through Entware

I can't seem to get this to work - any ideas? Lightttpd wont start "/opt/etc/init.d/S80lighttpd start" Just fails. Tried redoing the whole thing over 3 times now. And it seems dropbox defaults to HTTPS now - which wget doesn't seem to like, so I had to transfer the files manually. On a...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 is out

Omg yes! Brilliant! Been spammed with these for ages - and never figured out how to stop them aside from hunting down the programs issuing the proxy requests Ohh and Definitely a release worth updating too! Thanks a lot RMerlin, and pinwing, fantom1 for the PPoE traffic fix!

    The rmerlin donation thread.

I actually want to thank you for reminding me that RMerlin accepted donations - didn't have any money spare when I first came across this forum and RMerlins firmware - but can afford to throw a few bucks his way now. RMerlin, if you're reading this - thanks for all your work, it's greatly...

[Tutorial] Webcam video surveillance via mjpg-streamer

Did anyone find a way to save the content of the stream to disk? Actually, would it be possible to set something up on a desktop to catch the network stream and store it on a HDD, to avoid clogging up any SD card or memory stick plugged into the router.

    Broken traffic monitor?

Got the same issue here, let me know if there's anything that I could try to help uncover the bug. Would rather not factory reset until the final .40 build gets released as I've gotten my router pretty stable, but can if it'll help. I have a RT-N66U with 3.0.0.4.374.39_0-em installed. I'm not...

Weird Traffic Monitor Display (N66U, Merlin 374.39_0-em)

This is a known issue, I'm having the same issue except on a much larger scale only about 8GB transferred according to the individual tabs, but the internet tab is reporting about 2.9TB of data. Merlin has stated that he is unable to reproduce the bug, and so is unable to fix it. From what I...
