    Disable STP in stock

Probably not. It looks like STP was purely a problem for the proprietary jank that was Flow Acceleration (FA) in a certain range of hardware. FA getting "fixed", FA being a deprecated feature, or just overwhelming CPU-crunching-power makes the whole discussion moot.

Are all the known WPA3 security flaws fixed now?

Wired Ethernet has known security flaws.

Merlin AC-88U firmware 386.2_4 Failed - Router wont start

Windows also has a simple cli TFTP option under Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > scroll until you see the TFTP Client checkbox.

Not able to update to Merlin

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

Yes, I ran into this issue on the RT-AC88U with the 386.2 to 386.2_2 upgrade. The upgrade via the HTTP GUI failed to complete twice and on the third attempt it corrupted the image and caused the router to boot into recovery mode. From there the CFE HTTP server also failed to apply a new image...

How to block OCSP requests on OS Apple

Anyone telling you to disable OCSP doesn't know what they're talking about and is engaging in a bad faith argument. While what you're asking for is possible, it comes with consequences you don't understand, otherwise you wouldn't be asking to block OCSP.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Native IPv6 RA is broken in 384.19. A link-local gateway address, public IPv6 address, and temp public IPv6 address are initially assigned, but the client is not able to retain that address. It eventually just drops off after about thirty minutes or so. Doing an ipconfig /renew6 restores the...

    Solved RT-AC88U 5Ghz wifi problem on 384.18

    Solved RT-AC88U 5Ghz wifi problem on 384.18

The Broadcom ASIC in the AC88U doesn't offer the mid channels. I don't know if that's a compatibility or UI simplification choice for end users. If you force 80MHz exclusive, it has no choice but to consume 36 - 48. AFAIK the AC88U can't use the DFS range or mix the upper and lower band...

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

That error log is eerily similar to my AC88U router and media bridge failings.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

Tried 9.0.0.4.386_39179 on my RT-AC88U media bridge. Things have not changed, both the Broadcom (wireless & wired) and Realtek (wired) driver crash over and over and over again. This behavior is not seen on older firmware. When the drivers aren't crashing, they are providing markedly lower...

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

This 386 firmware has the same problem as the older 385 branch on the RT-AC88U in Media Bridge mode. It causes the system to crash over and over and over again. Your QA department is not testing Media Bridge mode. No steps are necessary to duplicate this other than simply using Media Bridge...

    ASUS RT-AC88U Firmware 3.0.0.4.385.20630 (29.06.2020)

Broken firmware for media bridge mode, just like every 385 release to date. I have tried sending the logs showing the crashing driver to Asus. The system is so unstable I'm unsure if my "Feedback" tab is actually working.

    RT-AC88U new FW 3.0.0.4.385.20490 (28.04.2020)

Whatever they are, they weren't for the vastly unstable Media Bridge mode.
