I did not ask for a refund nor was I offered a choice. It sounded like they saw something in the logs that was concerning and offered a refund right away. This reason is why I went with Asus. I just want something that can give 5G coverage to my entire home, did not know that I am asking too...

Tbh, if Asus can't get a $450 router right in 2020 then I don't want to buy Asus anymore. Sure they fixed the problem, but if you've worked with Asus customer service you'd know it feels like 2005. Sifting through a non-rich text email with no use of images (meaning the same disclaimer in normal...

The router was great for the first month, which is the only period which B&H Photo accepts returns. Thanks for trying to help though.

You will gain performance but lose reliability. I bought this for working from home to increase reliability over my AC68u mesh network dropping every 3 hours. After a fresh reset and firmware upgrade (to current public and also beta), I get a dropped connection every 5-15 minutes. This router is...

[Official Beta] AiMesh beta firmware for RT-AC68U/RT-AC86U/RT-AC5300/RT-AC88U

My main takeaway was that the routers original 3x MAC addresses can be determined from the sticker on the back, and should be used. After using the correct macs, my nodes were found.

[Official Beta] AiMesh beta firmware for RT-AC68U/RT-AC86U/RT-AC5300/RT-AC88U

First off, big thanks to arthurlien and Wilson_Deng for providing us with and dealing with the questions from everyone here. Another big thank you to goggles99 for figuring out how to get the TM models working. For those running TM’s modified CFEs and unable to find any nodes, I think I’ve...
