RP-N53 could not detect 5Ghz signal (1m away from RT-N66U)

Hi, Searched and couldn't find any posting on the Asus RP-N53 Repeater but I'm hoping some kind folks can help me here.. I have a RP-N53 Repeater that I connect to the Asus RT-N66U. I am unable to get the N53 to connect to the N66U on the 5Ghz range, even when the N53 is placed 1m away from...
