Is there any reason to pick the axe version if I have the ax86u router? I know that this router is not an axe router, but will there be better speeds with the newer card regardless?

Yeah, It's definitely not hardware-based because I tried exchanging for another but had the same results

I am currently running your latest firmware on my ax88u and on my ac88u. On my ac88u I get full speeds using your firmware which is the strangest thing right now.

Yes I've tried nearly everything I've seen through this sub section that was recommended in past posts as well. It's really strange being if I plug in a older router I get full speed on various channels.

I just tried this and went through every channel. Channel 52 gets me to full speed but that only lasts for an hour before dropping back down to around 300mbs. Do you have any other suggestions for me to try out?

Just tried 36 out and got speeds around 250 mbs

Interesting enough, when I switched the control channel to 52, I got full speed, but that only lasted about an hour and it dropped back down. I don't know what could be the cause of this issue.

I am having similar issues just upgraded to xfinity's gigabit plan and get around 630-650mb on old router 5ghz, but can't seem to break over 350 on the asus ax88u. I have tried taking all the actions mention on this thread but still no luck.
