Are you sure about that USG WAN is limited to 40Mbps only? I am pretty sure the current USG WAN is Gigabit.

Hello, If a device was originally setup using WPS and is currently connected, and then WPS is subsequently disabled on the router will that disconnect the devices that where setup with WPS? Requiring manual connection? Thanks Sam

I usually like Merlins build so might give it a shot as well, also had no problems with the stock FW just FYI.

How you getting on with Merlins build in terms of stability etc?

Is it possible to do the following on the stock firmware? 1) Block all outgoing ports (all devices) with the exception of specific ones (80, 443 etc)? 2) Is it possible when doing port forwarding to restrict the incoming connections from specific source IPs.

Good to hear. I'm hoping mine is designed for EU region since it apparently comes with a AUSSIE, EU and UK plug.

You could have got those from B&Q or Argos etc. Rather than waiting/paying for delivery.

Oh well can you not just use the other channels? I wonder if the one I bought from AUS will come with the EU boot loader since it apparently has an EU plug and UK plug in the box. Will report once it comes. It cleared customs today.

Have you tried going to ASUS support page to download the firmware from their support page for your country, incase its region specific? or tried Rerlins version?

Says coming soon. I run a small online shop and this is on my radar for selling but our supplier is stating the 22nd December for an expected delivery but it has been pushed back a few times.
