    When I manually select the wifi channel on either band, it won't change. It stays on the previous channel. The only way the channel will change to the new one I selected, is if I reboot the router. Is this a known bug? This happens with stock fw and merlin fw.

    Yes. It will not support openvpn or third party firmware like dd-wrt.

    Is this unit sold out in the US? Most places seem oos such as best buy, amazon, newegg, b&h photo, ebay. If anyone has them, they want nearly $300. If so, when will supply pick back up?

    Part of the problem is that the ventilation sucks. Look at some of the Linksys routers and it seems half of the router case( top and bottom) is ventilated. My AC3100 has just a tiny vent on the top to let out heat. It's winter and my home is at 20C and my cpu is at 70C. Imagine in summer when...

    Just upgraded on my AC87 and in the port forwarding page, the column for Local IP, the ip address is no longer automatically detected.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.34 is out

    I have MagicJack plus plugged into my n66u and after I flashed .34, it stopped working. I flashed .33 and no luck. Then I flashed .32 and now it works again. I had the same problem with the new Shibby Tomato 114. MJ+ stopped working with it. But it was working fine with the older 112 version.

    I am using merlin 3.0.0.4.374.33 and I can not disable Upnp. When I go to disable it and click apply, I the processing screen and it goes on and on and on for several minutes. I have cleared the nvram and reinstalled the stock asus firmware and no luck. Even with asus stock firmware, I can't...
