    RT-AX86U 2.5G port not giving close to 2.5G speed - troubleshoot

    Are you guys getting wifi speeds over a gig at all with the ax86U or are your speed tests aggregates of multiple 1GB ports? Like running multiple iperf3 from hosts.

    I stopped using the 2.5GB port in mine and now wish I had not paid for it. When I use it on mine in AP mode, I only use AP mode.     R7800 Upgrade or Not????

    I want to try that AP now that I have used this a bit ..it's cheaper and I only really need an AP. I might just order one to try and send the one back I don't like. I agree though the 2.5 port on mine isn't helping anything wifi.

    Sooo... I am still playing with it ...I have a galaxy s22 ultra as a client and I have an all in one pc with a RTL8882CE AC client I also have a laptop with an AX210 adapter. So from a bulk throughput perspective the 7800 wins I use it in 160 mode and have no issues with any of my clients...

    oops typo...I have the AX86U like the one in this post. Also has the 2.5gb port ...I can't get the wifi to do anywhere near 1gbps. I use an internal server hosting Openspeedtest connected at 10GB for testing.
