    AC66U as a repeater?

Hello, first of all, thank you for your answer. Secondly: What is then the difference between the repeater-mode and the media bridge-mode? Is it that the repeater also sends out a wireless signal whereas the media bridge only takes the wireless signal from the main hub and transfers it...

Use RT-ac66u and RT-ac68u in combination?

Okay! Well the repeater-function should work with two different models but when you put it into repeater-mode, will it also put through the signal through the LAN-ports because that is my mission. So I would like to send my wireless connection to the other device and then use cables there to My...

Use RT-ac66u and RT-ac68u in combination?

Hello! I was thinking about buying an RT-ac68u and to use it as my wireless router and to put my old rt-ac66u as a media bridge. But from what I've read you need to have two of the same product. Is this true?

RT-AC66U dropping and gaining signal on 5GHz

Hello! A while back i started a thread where I explained that my 5GHz network lost signal strength (from three bars to two bars on my Iphone 5) after a couple of hours. A simple reboot would bring the signal back up. After 2 updates of the routers firmware (I have the latest one to date) I...

    RT-AC66U - Disappointing so far...

Do you have any idea whether or not ASUS is aware of the issue and if they're going to do anything about it? Because I'm seriously thinking about getting mine replaced but I'm not sure if it's worth it since it might be, as you say, a FW-problem. What's your routers problem?

    Weirdest RT-AC66U problem

Thank you for the reply! I've tried all of that, changed the channels, the 5GHz network only have channels around 33 to 48 so I cannot choose a lower one and I've checked all the networks around my house and they all only go up to channels around 11. And please note, if this helps understand...

    RT-AC66U - Disappointing so far...

So I'm not the only one? Because I've actually been scanning the web and only found people with other problems such as not being able to connect or something. But this problem, is it firmware or hardware-related? My guess would be FW, since every time i change something in the UI it...

    RT-AC66U - Disappointing so far...

Hey guys! I'm having a problem with my AC66U. My signal strength suddenly drops on my 5GHz network while the 2.4 is going strong. After i go in and apply something in the UI, doesn't matter what it is, it goes back to full strength for a copule of hours... Extremely annoying.

    Weirdest RT-AC66U problem

Hello! I just bought a ASUS RT-AC66U the other day and the router was working fine during the first week or two. A couple of days ago i saw (On my iPhone and iPad) that the signal strenght on the 5GHz network was really low (2.4 still going strong). As soon as I move 12 feet or 3-4m from the...
