    For me, putting the stick to USB2 port made my router 100% stable again. No crashes, no web interface issues, nothing. Dont know why, logs didn't reveal any info. Post an update after doing this nuclear reset process...

    Same issue with web login and just discoverd what "nvram show" just do nothing, so i found this thread which describes exactly the same problem! is the backup/format jffs/restore a permanent or temporary solution? is this by any chance a hardware issue?

    update / fyi: all problems resolved when moving usb stick from usb3 to usb2 port. Seems like usb3 implementation got some issues!

    WAN was exceptionally disconnected

    Same issue with with 386.3_2 on my AC86U. Router is getting an ip (pppoe) and after a few seconds is going to status "disconnected". Rolled back to 386_3 and problem is gone.

    summer just arrived, router is going hot again! cpu was 95+ and throttling was obvious causing 1 core temporary decommissioning. another quick, non-destructuve fan mod brought temps down to safe level :)

    thank u! fortunately it was an SSH glitch and a power cycle did the job. (@ColinTaylor you were right!) thanks everyone for reminding me to close the WAN https access and change the admin default username.
