    The router's default setting is auto, so yes, I have tried it. I flashed back to Merlin (John's) and the issue remains. It's odd how only the PS4 is affected.

    Ok, it seems that I've found the culprit. It seems as if there's some kind of issue with wireless N on my AC66U. I set the network mode on the router to B/G mixed and bam, problem solved.
