    Thanks that worked!! Yes it opened a webpage but I just copied the contents to a file called optware.asus and then copied it over to the usb drive.

    Phoned ASUS support today and the guy said that they would be told if the servers in Taiwan were down. Asked me to try a reset which I have now done but it hasn't fixed the problem. He said I should send the unit back if that didn;t work. Doesn't make sense as the person who owned this unit...

    Hi Just got the 56u and everything else is working well apart from installing media server and download master. Tried deleting asus folder on hard disk and rerunning but same problem. Tried updating to last firmware as well. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
