Seeking Wired Router with multiple 2.5Gb Ethernet Ports

I agree 100%. It’s missing a lot of features compared to Asus AX routers. I’m not a fan of QNAP after using their NAS for years and having to deal with crap firmware updates. However, the 301w is perfect for my use case since I needed a 10G connection to a 10G switch. Plus the icing on the cake...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.74SF

I'm not 100% sure if my ISP is throttling our internet connection due to bittorrent traffic, but for over a year I have been trying to troubleshoot the throttling issue without any success.

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.74SF

Thanks for the reply @microchip. Guess I should have read the fine print before installing Voxel's firmware. The issue is my ISP would throttle my bandwidth (t mobile DE) and I couldn't figure out why. This has been going on for more than a year now.

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.74SF

First let me state I am not accusing anyone of anything. However I found some really disturbing entries with an ASUS RT-AC88U setup in router mode and a Netgear X4S R7800 as an access point with the latest R7800 Voxel firmware installed. While examining the traffic classifications for my...

    RT-AC88U + 4G Slow Internet Issues

Ok...... I was thinking it has to be a known issue, but I just couldn't find any mention of it in the forums. Thanks. Did you get 4G internet to work properly with any other router?

    RT-AC88U + 4G Slow Internet Issues

I have been using 4G internet with a RT-AC88U for a few months. Everything works great after a router reboot, but after a few hours wired and wireless internet slows to about 27Mbps. I normally get about 100Mbps and I can't figure out why its slowing down. This is what I have done so far; 1...

Ac5300, Is my router performing good?

Ok, thanks for the info. I am not the expert so I can only give advice based on my experience with an ASUS RT-AC88U. The fastest transfer rate via wireless was ~ 98MBps or 784Mbps. The fastest transfer rate wired (w/ enterprise grade 1Gbe NICs switches etc.) is 118MBps or 944Mbps. When I...
