Unbound Unbound graphical statistics tab doesn't update all groups

Ach! it's my bad... I had updated unbound and it got a new conf file that had the include: directive commented out... Except I've been in C++ land too long, saw "#include: "/opt/share/unbound/configs/unbound.conf.add" and thought that looked just dandy!

Unbound Unbound graphical statistics tab doesn't update all groups

Thanks - that's weird... is there a way to confirm it's properly parsing my unbound.conf.add file? That seems to be the obvious problem (unless it's just a b00g)

Unbound Unbound graphical statistics tab doesn't update all groups

I've got the UI installed for unbound for the graphical statistics tab and all the appropriate log types enabled. Generally this works but sometimes after doing an update of entware or unbound the GUI displays no data. I almost always get the cache-hit data but sometimes the last 7/last 30 days...

Unbound Today's DNS Replies Client IP are all 127.0.0.1 - anyway to get the actual lookup host?

Correct. Which is why I added the add-subnet option to dnsmasq to pass along the IP... But I can't find it there's a config for unbound to recognize that value.

Unbound Today's DNS Replies Client IP are all 127.0.0.1 - anyway to get the actual lookup host?

Thanks - I'm doing that part - but all the dns queries are being logged as 127.0.0.1

Unbound Today's DNS Replies Client IP are all 127.0.0.1 - anyway to get the actual lookup host?

So I've got one of my devices spamming a particular blocked address (google-analytics) and I'm trying to figure out who's doing it. Sure, I could fire up wireshark but why spend 5 minutes when I can waste a few hours trying to get it to show up in the stats page on my router! I've got DNS...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.8 is now available for specific models

I've got a 10gb switch connected to it that's running between my router in the den to the living room to connect my stream box/game consoles. I can't really test the 10g but the switch and router both say it's connected at 10g. 24h and so far, so good and the wifi issues I was having with my...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.8 is now available for specific models

Got lucky and managed to score one of the AXE16000's on Amazon (MSRP) on a refresh (2 in stock!). Spent the day installing and migrating from my AXE11000 after migrating from a 7 year old (God I'm old!) AC5300 (thought the AXE11000 would be my next long runner but missed the dual 5ghz) Did a...

GT-AX 11000 issue with Lifx String Lights

I had a connection issue with my older 2.4g Nokia weight scale on the AXE11000 - what I had to do was disable 802.11ax/WiFi 6 on the 2.4ghz wifi channel.

Unbound, Apple, Reverse DNS lookup and NXDOMAIN (oh my!)

I had (rebooted the router actually) - I think it was just some latent reporting on the statistics page as I'm not seeing any recent reports of failure on those domains at all this morning!

Unbound, Apple, Reverse DNS lookup and NXDOMAIN (oh my!)

I don't think that's working (or my config is wrong) arpa NXDOMAIN count is still going up lb._dns-sd._udp.0.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa 127.0.0.1 NXDOMAIN 501 dnsmasq.conf.add is dhcp-option=lan,42,192.168.0.1 # ntpMerlin local=/168.192.in-addr.arpa/ local=/10.in-addr.arpa/

Unbound, Apple, Reverse DNS lookup and NXDOMAIN (oh my!)

Thanks - can I get by with something like local=/.in-addr.arpa/ ? i've seen a few requests to something like 1.0.0.10.in-addr.arpa (even though that's not my netspace I think that's apple looking for it.
