    Need help with retrofit network

    Well it is technically router/modem from xfinity but I use it in passthrough to the asus router. Would this be the same as being modem only and be outside of the firewall? If so, if I turn the modem wifi back on but still just connect to the asus router for wifi would that solve the firewall...
