    GT-AXE16000 Owner's Thread

Unfortunately, that is what it seems. The customer service rep giving the news couldn't give me any real info or details, but it seems like the technical side has conceded and offered this as their solution. It's too bad, this router is awesome except for this issue. It actually goes deeper...

An update from ASUS for those suffering with the upload speed issue on the 2.5G WAN port- They have offered me a product buyback for the full amount I paid for the router originally. They stated that they do not feel the upload issue will be resolved any time soon so this is their only...

Upload speed is still nerfed on the latest official firmware on the 2.5G WAN port. Nearly 4 months in and the router doesn't fundamentally function correctly. I'm not sure if others with this issue have found solutions or jumped ship to other/better routers. If anyone has any advice, please...

Has anyone that had the upload speed issue on the WAN port checked to see if this update fixed it?

Thank you, this workaround works. I hope they fix this soon in a firmware patch. We shouldn't have to lose a LAN port because the 2.5G WAN doesn't work properly.

I'm in the same boat. I've tried everything - hard reset, factory reset via soft reset and GUI, checked cabling, reset ONT box, checked speed via direct connection to a laptop and a different router. This router is 100% the issue. I have since contacted technical support chat. They created a...

Well, the new firmware doesn't resolve the upload speed issue (at least for me). I'm still capped at around 100Mbps, despite having sequential gigabit. I have hard reset, soft reset, and reset via the GUI on both firmwares now with no improvement. I submitted feedback with logs a few weeks ago...

    GT-AXE16000 Owner's Thread

I just set mine up last night and am getting terrible speeds for upload (I have sequential gigabit fiber). With the built-in router speed test, I'm seeing about 1/10 the speed I should get and it obviously is much worse on any wired or wireless client. The router is on the latest firmware, I...

    GT-AX6000 vs GT-AXE16000 question

Router is up for "backorder" on Newegg: https://www.newegg.com/asus-gt-axe16000-wi-fi-6e-wi-fi-6-backwards-compatible-with-802-11a-b-g-n-ac-wi-fi/p/N82E16833320526 Not sure how it can be backordered considering it never actually launched, but at least it's something for those of us who want to...
