This behaviour is on the BE88u. I replaced old router, kept the same SSID. Now the router's behaviour is what I deem strange: the 2.4GHz radio seems to disappear from the radar constantly.

So... after dealing with this issue for a while now, changing 3 RT-BE88us so far, nothing is conclusive. I tried different settings: - with and without IOT separate network - with and without USB stick - with and without Merlin firmware - reset the routers hundreds of times in the attempt to try...

Kind of late to the party, but I experienced the same thing with an AX88u, now experiencing the same thing with a RE-BE88u. It's exactly the same behaviour explained here by other users.

I bought them from the same retailer, not directly from ASUS.

Learned something new today. I didn't know how to see the clients' signal stength.

I'm still having these issues. What I did so far: - Disabled USB3 mode - Even removed the USB stick completely - Disabled WIFI7 - Disabled MLO - Disabled smart connect - Multiple factory resets - Replaced 2 RT-BE88u routers already Maybe I should switch to a TP-Link (Archer BE800)? 🤔

Looking back, I think I’m finding new things about myself I wasn’t aware of, such as being so insistent in trying the same model more than once. This is, now, my third BE88u router. All of them exhibiting the same behaviour. Although the third one seems to be a bit more stable, I see my HomePod...

I'm still not sure what the problem was with the AX88u, but for the BE88u the fix was to entirely disable WiFi7. Thanks for the reply.
