On an iPhone, I thought even the Chrome app uses the same webkit driver (could be wrong).
Either way, other Asus's work just fine on Safari just having issues with the AX 57 Go with mobile Safari. I'll just learn to live with Chrome when going to a a hotel :)
My RT-AX57 Go does not like me using my mobile Safari browser. Same issues and sometimes page doesn’t load at all with an error. No issues with the chrome app on my iPhone.
I think so? At least when you create a new MLO network, you need all bands, so assuming that if you have an existing network defined, it needs to use SmartConnect/broadcasting on all bands.
Or just create a new MLO network separately
based on my understanding, it's b/c the primary `RT-BE86U` is running:
ASUS RT-BE86U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37812
The RT-AX86U is:
ASUS RT-AX86 Series(RT-AX86U/RT-AX86S) Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24323
And the (working) RT-AX86U Pro is:
ASUS RT-AX86U Pro Firmware version...
My mesh node was too in a similar setup.
If you had AiCloud enabled then I would look at the link. My radio lights were also no longer on and the signal super week, zeroed out MAC address and serial, and I couldn’t register an Asus DDNS name.
@gamernajin
The zeroed out MAC address makes me suspicious. I had the same issue. And I also had the same issue where the RT-AX88U would no longer add a downstream AiMesh node after a factory reset. To me, it sounds like your router might have been subject to malware. Some nice folks in this...
Bumping an old thread but I ran into this recently too. Was / is the message ("The wifi interface has reached its maximum") because one router is on AsusWRT 5 (firmware 3.0.0.6) and one is on the older 3.0.0.4?
Looking at the latest firmwares for both, the AX11000 doesn't support 3.0.0.6 (only...
Got it. Earlier today I was seeing one of my Nest CO/smoke detectors (that's wireless 2.4ghz) show up as Ethernet in the network list. Chalking it up to a random bug.
