    on the MerlinAU user asp page, the firmware check button never finds an update if "Enable Automatic F/W Update Checks" is turned off. Manual update check by ssh finds the new firmware and offers to install it as usual.

    WAN does not act as a LAN port in the sense you can connect a down stream device to it, you should be able to connect the LAN4 to the router and get downstream device connectivity on the wan port. AP Mode wrongly sets the wan port as both vlan1 and vlan2, with vlan2 taking precedent, this means...
